The London Research Institute research groups are based at Lincoln’s Inn Fields and Clare Hall. Our major research themes are: the biology of tumours and tissues, cellular regulatory mechanisms and genomic integrity and cell cycle.

The overall aim of my research programme at the London Research Institute is to understand the contribution of metabolic processes in cancer development. We are interested in elucidating how cellular signalling pathways regulate cellular metabolic processes and how these processes contribute to cell growth, survival and stress resistance. Understanding the role of cell metabolism in cell transformation could lead to the identification of novel targets for drug development.
