Clinical Research Fellow open Afternoon

An open afternoon was held at the LRI on Wednesday 13th April for those interested in participating in the Clinical Research Fellow programme.

The positions are available in Oncology/Haemato-oncology at the LRI and the UCL Cancer Centre. The afternoon aimed to give potential candidates the opportunity to find out more about LRI and UCL Cancer Centre, The PhD programme and details of the application process, together with the opportunity to meet potential supervisors for an informal discussion.

Candidates heard talks from professors from The UCL Cancer Institute and an ex-LRI Clinical Research Fellow, Dr. Anthony Kong. The afternoon ended with a question and answer session followed by an informal discussion with supervisors.

Successful candidates will be integrated on to the LRI PhD Programme and registered for their PhD at UCL. They will be able to participate in LRI – UCL Cancer Centre Joint Clinical Fellows Programme, including an induction and a monthly Clinical Research Fellows meeting.
