Clare Hall Laboratories host an EMBO Young Investigator Programme Meeting
On November 3rd-4th an EMBO Young investigators meeting on DNA replication, DNA repair and DNA damage response took place at the London Research Institute’s Clare Hall Laboratories.
Eight groups from all over Europe participated by bringing their most talented post-doc and students to share and discuss their preliminary results in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Among the participants were; Philippe Pasero, John Rouse, Fabrizio D’adda di Fagagna, Lumir Kreicji and Madalena Tarsounas and lab members from Karim Labib, Helle Ulrich and Oscar Fernandez-Capetillo’s groups.
The meeting was extremely successful and has established even stronger links amongst these investigators. This is one the most successful initiatives sponsored by the EMBO young investigator program, which supported the meeting and continues to promote exchange and collaboration between all the members. Vincenzo Costanzo and Simon Boulton, based at the London Research Institute - Clare Hall Laboratories, with the help of Research Administrator Kath Ames organised this informative meeting. The London Research Institute also provided essential logistic support to make this event possible. The next meeting of this group will be held in France.
