Scientific Officers
Scientific Officers act as the day-to-day support to research and core technology facility laboratories and are skilled in multiple laboratory procedures.
They carry out high quality research, and are usually involved in research projects. They also provide support to the group leader, taking responsibility for Health & Safety in the laboratories, ordering laboratory consumables and liaising with the institute’s administration. Scientific Officers also provide training for other members of the laboratory.
